Hon. Ahmed Hussen,

The Globe and Mail recently reported that Ralenis Tovar, the same judge who signed Leopoldo Lopez's arrest order (one of Venezuela's political prisoners unfairly sentenced to over 13 years in prison), is in Toronto, awaiting to obtain Refugee status. 

On behalf of all Venezuelans I am asking you to stop her and her family's request to stay in Canada. Actions like the ones Mrs. Tovar took as a judge in Venezuela are corrupt, deplorable, illegal, and decisions that violated and still violate Human Rights of many, including  those of Mr. Lopez. She is an accomplice to Nicolas Maduro's regime and a contributor to the pain and suffering of many Venezuelans.

Canada should grant Refugee Status to those who truly deserve it,  those who are real victims, not to those who serve a narco-regime, follow their orders to violate Human Rights, and later try to claim to be the victims of political persecution.
