Solar Sky Rail

The idea came to use solar power to help diminish the strain on local communities making this project more cost effective. Lightweight flexible solar collectors could be mounted horizontally both north and south of the rail. Also the Sky Train itself could have solar collectors integrated into it's roof. Thus the entire 2,000 mile rout would be producing power during the daylight hours.
