Parents in Thrapston and Islip have historically sent their children to Prince William School in Oundle, a link which is appreciated and cherished by parents and schools alike. 

In the new policy, introduced by North Northamptonshire Council, it is noted that Raunds Manor School is nearer to Thrapston and some villages than Prince William School and therefore parents may be asked to pay if they name Prince William School as their primary choice for their children. 

We ask that North Northamptonshire Council makes special arrangements outside their adopted policy to duplicate the current provision for home to school transport for Thrapston and Islip children.
