A Home Owners Association is formed to ensure that the infrastructure of an area is maintained. Another major and key role of an HOA is ensuring the safety of those who live within the community.

What are the community’s priorities?

Reading the minutes of the last few HOA Annual General Meetings will give potential homeowners a clear idea of the community’s priorities and what issues and topics keep rearing their heads. 

The biggest priority in Riverside View currently is crime - ValueMax installed a Clearview Fence by the River, however this did not bring in much positive effect as there has been multiple breaches to the proposed fence, therefore the HOA’s objective would be to build a high perimeter wall to limit any breach. 
Turn the area into a boomed off area - (research has proven how this will be done despite Riverside View roads and streets being public because of the RDP’s. We cannot close of the area and restrict access, however the area can be boomed off on condition that we only control access and keep record of vehicles and individuals going inside the area via CCTV. )

Maintenance of common areas -  (turn Riverside View into a green eco estate, by so doing the goal would be to install grass and landscaping where there is open space to create a green friendly environment, houses without paving on the exterior upon the owners approval, a lawn can be installed so that all streets and paving detailing can be clean and promote the green eco friendly environment, this will be maintained by the HOA on a weekly basis to ensure the cleanliness of the area.) 

Establish our own community security service - This will not only increase safety around the area, but the objective is to also create job opportunities for the unemployed within Riverside View. 

Fibre Installation - A huge outcry in the recent past has been about Fibre Installation from residents, with one representative such as the HOA it is easily attainable as the HOA represents every home owner at large.
