The Issue

You may know and probably supported my last petition, "Help me find out if my baby was stolen at birth in Spain", support I am very grateful of, now I am back!

This new petion is very much related to this previous petition. I am one of hundreds of thousands of people affected by the tremendous scandal in Spain of babies being abducted at birth and either sold or given as a gift to adoptive parents. The barriers to justice are enormous and for many impossible to break through. I have very strong grounds to believe my baby did not die shortly after birth as informed by hospital staff. Incredibly my case has been right the way through the Spanish judicial system without one single person being interviewed either by the police or judge, not even me! It is so hard to believe this is so after numerous appeals, even to the Constitutional Court in Spain, have always been shelved. I have a wealth of evidence but nobody in authority will look at it or give me the chance to represent my case. The Office of Public Prosecution in Spain even had the audacity to tell the European Parliament Working Party investigating the lack of action from the Spanish government that they had no information on my case and the investigation should have been led by British Police. Theresa May, when Home Secretary, informed me on two occasions that the Home Office "could not interfere in another country's justice system". I have never asked for interference! I want my government to investigated what happened to my baby, a British Citizen. Please help me by signing this petition to put pressure on the government to authorize the British Police to do, effectively what the Spanish Office of Public Prosecution have given them permission to do and INVESTIGATE.
