If Boris Johnson attended an illegal lockdown party, he must be guilty of the offence of Misconduct in a Public Office. Likewise, lying to parliament regarding this must constitute a further offence. Regardless of his political persuasion his position as head of the government means he must be accountable for such actions and prosecuted if found to have broken the law.
