Home For Everyone! Homlessness Is Illegal

The Issue

Updated Demands:
Opening Empty Buildings – Utilize abandoned and underused buildings to provide housing for homeless individuals.

Better Support Programs – Increase funding and support for those who want to return to work and a stable life.

Ensuring Housing Rights – Everyone deserves the right to a safe shelter, especially during harsh winter conditions.

Reducing and Making Waiting Lists Transparent – Currently, many social housing programs have years-long waiting lists, which create false hope rather than real solutions. We demand that governments and local authorities shorten waiting times and provide real, immediate solutions for people in need!

Stronger Collaboration Between Public and Private Sectors – Establish emergency housing programs where businesses, nonprofit organizations, and the government work together to offer fast and effective solutions for eradicating homelessness. This must include rehabilitation services and mental health care, ensuring that people not only get temporary shelter but also real support to reintegrate into society.

Ban regions difference. Why do they have to face  difference between regions if they homless.. Street is Street!

Homless people need the opportunity to attend any offices/centeres to request help.

People without legal status should also have the right to access these services if they are already present in the country

Long-Term Support After Rehabilitation – Many homeless individuals end up back on the streets after rehabilitation due to a complete lack of follow-up support. We demand that post-rehabilitation support last for at least 6 months – 1 year, covering:

Partial financial assistance for rent and utility bills
Work training and career programs (to help secure stable jobs)
Providing official documents, passports, and identification
Medical check-ups and continued healthcare access
Personal mentoring and reintegration support to prevent people from being forced back onto the streets

Dignity & Personal Care Centers – We demand the creation of free support centers where homeless people can receive basic self-care services, including:

Hair washing, haircuts, and grooming
Nail care and support, including nail polish if they wish
Skincare treatments and access to hygiene products (vegan and cruelty-free,)
Clean clothing and personal hygiene supplies

➡️ This will help them feel more confident and increase their chances of getting a job, as many employers unfairly judge people based on their appearance.

‼️ Nobody should be punished for failing once or twice! Everyone deserves a second chance. A single setback should not mean losing the opportunity to rebuild a stable life!
