Ryobi & Home Depot has stopped production and sales of most if not all Ryobi TEK4 battery operated power tools.  TEK4 products included Flashlights, Power Screwdrivers, Volt/OHM Meters, Inspection Scopes, Laser Levels, Infrared Temperature Sensors, etc.

Ryobi & Home Depot is dropping TEK4 for their Phone Works line of products.  For some people, relying on your cell phone to run power tools is not an important feature and for some job sites actually unsafe.  Having reliable independent low voltage power tools like the TEK4 line is a must have for their toolbox.

It's disappointing that Ryobi & Home Depot are slowly killing off the TEK4 product line.  Ryobi & Home Depot, PLEASE do NOT kill off the TEK4 product line and please bring it back.  There is no reason the TEK4 system & the Phone Works system can't survive together!
