I am happy to report that we are about to hit 5,000 signatures on our petition asking Holtec CEO Krishna P. Singh to not dump radioactive water into Cape Cod Bay. AMAZING WORK EVERYONE!

We are making an impact with this petition and people in power are already starting to pay attention.

For example, this morning I received a call from Plymouth senator Matt Muratore. Matt said he would help get the petition in front of Governor Maura Healey. This is great news.

Right now the most effective action we can take is to continue sharing the petition and getting high profile influencers on social media to share it for us. Yesterday I contacted a lot of Cape Cod related Instagram accounts and many of them have agreed to publish posts about the petition.

Looking ahead at this weekend, we need to continue taking action to keep the momentum going.

Here are 3 things you can do this weekend to help:

• Contact 3 high profile influencers on Instagram and politely ask them share the petition
• Message 3 popular Facebook pages and ask them to share the petition
• Post the petition flyer in 3 high traffic public places where hundreds of people will see it

If each and everyone of us can do what I mentioned above, then very soon we are going to hit a tipping point where the petition goes viral and our signature count skyrockets.

That might just be enough for Holtec to change their plan to dump into Cape Cod Bay. If there was ever a time to stand up, speak out and be loud, then this is it. We have a very real chance of success here - I can FEEL IT!
