With the uprising of the Black Americans breaking bounds and making history, we as Black Americans must begin to change how we see ourselves beyond picketing and uproars. We are a Powerful People! We are so much more than just drug dealers, thugs, promiscuous women, and trouble makers. We are educators, lawyers, doctors, sisters, brothers, and caregivers. It's time that we begin to see that on our screens.

The majority of all Black sitcoms and movies are full of foolishness: Parents who aren't together as a family with their children, Incarceation, Cheating, Deception, Lying Children, and worst of all Parents encouraging these behaviors!

It's time we begin to show more encouraging Black families and messages on our screens, give our people a positive image to follow. It's time to tell more stories of our Black Ancestors, give our young black children something real to look up to and show them they can become more than what this American makes them think they can be! Let's change the image of Black People on our screens and see the difference it makes in our lives.
