Girlfriends was and still is an important part of our culture. It featured an ensemble sitcom focused on a mixed batch of black women who face life's tests and triumphs together. From dating to divorce and friends to family to relationships, Joan, Maya, Lynn and Toni supported each other despite their differing backgrounds, learning about true friendship in the process.

Girlfriends ended abruptly in 2008 with no ending, and no closure.  Leaving millions of people traumatized and tragically in limbo as we struggled to find content for years that would ever fill the void. We need to do right by Joan, Maya, Lynn and Toni.

We need a mini series or a movie to give Girlfriends the ending that is truly deserves. We want young girls of this generation across the globe to recognize the importance of sharing stories by black women!
