Thank you for your recent support for the Town of Holden Beach to purchase the Holden Beach Fishing Pier. The Town purchased the property (Yeah!!!) and now we are asking that the Town to Restore the Pier and re-open the doors.

The Holden Beach Fishing Pier has been an integral part of the Holden Beach Community since 1959. This beloved landmark not only serves as a hub for recreational activities but also contributes significantly to the local economy by attracting people who love to fish.
However, in recent years, we have seen this iconic pier fall into disrepair. It's heartbreaking to see such an important part of our community neglected. The pier is not just a structure; it's a symbol of our shared history and love for the beach.
By restoring, reviving, and reopening the Holden Beach Fishing Pier, we can ensure that future generations can enjoy this beautiful location just as we have.
The Holden Beach Community Alliance has created a fundraising campaign opportunity for the restoration and ongoing maintenance of the Holden Beach Fishing Pier. In 2024, the HBCA will launch its' inaugural fundraising campaign for the restoration work needed on the pier. This fundraiser will be in addition to the funds generated by the occupancy tax. We ask that you partner with us to bring life back to the Holden Beach Fishing Pier. Don't make any contributions now!!! Look for our first fundraiser to Restore in 2024.
