After being given 40,000 hours of unreleased footage, Carlson proceeded to create a false narrative surrounding the event, portraying the insurrectionists as peaceful, and non-violent. Most notably, Carlson played footage of the QAnon Shamon, claiming that he was led into congress by the police. However, Carlson failed to show hours of confrontation with the police prior to the QAnon Shamon entering the building.

Tucker Carlson's recent actions shed light on a broader conspiracy inside right-wing media relating to the 2020 presidential elections. Carlson, along with numerous other hosts, repeatedly restated objectively false claims about the election to their viewers, further polarizing American society.

Tucker Carlson must be held accountable and should be taken off the air.
