The Federation Equestrian International has once again proven that the safety and wellbeing of horses is a secondary concern of theirs at best. It is time the equestrian community forces the FEI to be held accountable for these decisions. The FEI has proven they can not be the sole organization responsible for equine safety as they fail time and time again to enforce rules that are centered around the safety of these animals and instead choose competition and monetary gain. The FEI should not have the capability to act as the primary rule makers as they have shown to be incompetent in this regard agin and again. It is time equestrians had a say in the rules we all have to follow and for the FEI to have a transparent and democratic process in place for any decision. Enough is enough.
