Hold Sithule Tshuma Accountable for 25M USD Cybercrime / Justice for victims

Petition: Hold Sithule Tshuma Accountable for Fraudulent Activities, Protect Victims from Her Cyber Bullying Antics, Intimidation & Harassment

We, the undersigned, call on the UK Government, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and relevant authorities to urgently investigate and take decisive action against Sithule Tshuma, a Manchester UK-based nurse, for allegedly orchestrating a large-scale scam that has devastated hundreds of Zimbabwean women living in the diaspora, robbing them of their life savings and pensions.

Background

Sithule Tshuma has been accused of defrauding millions of dollars from thousands of  Zimbabwean women in the diaspora through a fraudulent land acquisition and development scheme. She lured her victims with false promises of lucrative investment opportunities in Zimbabwe, convincing them to entrust her with their hard-earned money.

These funds were intended for securing land development and other various business projects, were instead misappropriated, leaving victims financially ruined. She collected funds from the community and registered the land and properties in her personal private company Qoki Private Ltd without investor's consent. Many families have been torn apart by this scam, as the devastating loss of life savings and pensions has sparked conflicts, broken trust, and caused irreparable damage to relationships.

When victims began questioning inconsistencies in her dealings, Sithule Tshuma allegedly bullied, intimidated, and silenced them. Now that the full scale of her fraudulent activities has come to light, Ms. Tshuma has resorted to insulting and harassing her victims online mainly on Facebook and Whatsapp, adding further emotional harm to the financial devastation she has caused.

Why Action is Needed

Sithule Tshuma’s actions not only constitute financial fraud but also represent a serious violation of the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s Code of Conduct, which emphasizes integrity, honesty, and accountability. Her deliberate deceit and harassment of victims raise grave concerns about her fitness to practice as a nurse, a profession that demands the highest ethical standards.

Furthermore, the magnitude of this fraud—measured in millions of dollars—calls for immediate intervention to ensure justice for her victims and to prevent further harm. Without accountability, Sithule Tshuma’s actions risk undermining trust within the diaspora community and the reputation of healthcare professionals.

What We Demand

We call on the UK Government and the NMC to:
      1.    Launch a thorough and independent investigation into the financial crimes and fraudulent schemes orchestrated by Sithule Tshuma.
      2.    Suspend her nursing license pending the outcome of the investigation, as her conduct reflects a blatant breach of the ethical standards required of healthcare professionals.
      3.    Provide support to the victims by offering legal resources to pursue justice and recover their stolen funds.
      4.    Ensure that Sithule Tshuma is held accountable for the harassment and intimidation of her victims, including appropriate legal consequences for her actions.

The Human Cost

This is not just a financial scandal—it is a human tragedy. Families have been broken, relationships destroyed, and futures derailed due to the scale of this fraud. Victims have lost life savings and pensions, leaving them with no financial security for themselves or their families. The psychological toll of betrayal, compounded by ongoing harassment, cannot be overstated.

Support This Petition

We demand justice for the victims of this devastating scam. By addressing this case, the UK Government and the NMC can show their commitment to protecting vulnerable communities and upholding the ethical standards of the nursing profession. It is time for Sithule Tshuma to face the full consequences of her actions.
