🚨 Hold Redbridge Council to Account – Protect Our Children from Grooming Gangs 🚨

The Issue

👉 Redbridge Council Must Volunteer for a Grooming Gangs Inquiry

Children in Redbridge deserve protection, justice, and the truth.

The government has launched a national statutory inquiry into grooming gangs, accepting Baroness Casey’s recommendation to set up a “national inquiry co-ordinating a series of targeted local investigations.”

But Redbridge Council has not stepped forward.

🚨 Survivors and local communities are being failed. While other towns and cities like Rotherham, Rochdale, Oldham, and Telford have faced scrutiny, Redbridge has not. We cannot allow these crimes to remain hidden and unaddressed.

We, the undersigned, join Raj Forhad, a campaigner against child sexual exploitation, in calling on Redbridge Council to:

  • Volunteer itself for inclusion in the government’s national inquiry
  • Face up to historic and ongoing failures
  • Put survivors first by ensuring full transparency and accountability

Too many children have suffered in silence. Too many institutions have turned a blind eye. It’s time for Redbridge Council to show courage, put survivors at the heart of this, and allow the truth to come out.

📢 Please sign and share this petition to demand Redbridge Council steps up and volunteers itself for a grooming gangs inquiry.

Why this matters

  • Survivors deserve justice, truth, and support.
  • Children today must be protected from systemic failings.
  • Communities need confidence that the council will no longer turn away from this issue.

Redbridge must not remain in denial. The time for accountability is now.
