So the previous garnishment hearing was dismissed because the plaintiff didn't petition my employer.  She sent a letter to my employer and we have another garnishment hearing this Monday 9/22/25 at 3:30. This woman was aggressively attempting to both garnish my wages and was demanding vin numbers to my vehicles so she could have the sherrif execute my property as well, which is ridiculous. I believe she's just trying to be nasty because she would get her money from the garnishment and it wouldn't be necessary to both garnish my wages AND have the sherrif sieze my property for less then $5k. I believe she knows things that are sold at sherrif auctions get sold for pennies on the dollar and just wants to see my family suffer the loss which is just cruel especially since I found even more documentation which proves to me that her claim is completely fraudulent. I filed a defense response to her garnishment notice along with supporting documentation to show the courts why I believe her entire claim was fraudulent and hopefully they take what I believe are undeniable documents into consideration. So for example I believe her paycheck stubs and time clock records from her employer, which to me show her claims to be false and i believe they should outweigh her verbal testimony with no supporting documentation other then a spredsheet she had written up herself saying I owed her this money..... next month will be 3 years we've been dealing with this situation and I'm hopeful it'll be over soon and I won't have to pay money i worked hard to earn to someone that its clear to me is lying to get it.   Its very concerning to me how hard this has been and I can't help but wonder how many others are dealing with judgments or convictions they don't deserve simply because someone who SHOULD be telling the truth wasn't. I consider lying to get money from someone who doesn't owe it theft and even worse then stealing it out of their hand because the humiliation of losing in court to someone you know is lying makes it so much worse.  I can't even imagine how terrible it must feel to someone who was convicted of something that they shouldn't have been must feel! Which is why they need to start holding people accountable when they weaponize the court systems against other people and get judgments or convictions placed against them they do not deserve
