Greetings, friends,

As you know, my name is Nabil Abdulghani, an MD from Brooklyn, New York. I spent more than 14 months mired in bogus criminal court cases, arising from an

This was mostly a result of a dirty police department, who taunted me as I bled, face planted into the concrete, securely cuffed, with a ton of dirty officers tasing and choking away, as onlookers. Here's the proverbial "cherry" on top: only hours prior to this cowardly attack, the same Precinct and cops arrested an elderly man who slashed and  stabbed me silly.  My attacker was the same  man who attacked me with a baseball bat on 10/2017, thus beginning my 14 months of limbo.

As you may recall, this racist man was abusing and throwing tree branches at Latino day laborers.  I attempted to nicely convince him to stop abusing and assailing several Latino Day-Laborers. I managed to avoid having my  head split open. Enraged, this  man called me a  "rusty Mexican"  and ran off, I presumed, to call police. However, the aged man  passed the bat to his neighbor and falsely accused me with a list of absolute lies.

NYPD arrived in 5 patrol cars, spoke only to the actual assailant, and agressively pounced in me.  Despite several onlookers approaching these malicious officers and telling them that I was the one who was struck with a bat. Also, several security cameras and an NYPD CCTV camera were never even reviewed. I was denied counsel, I was called "sand Nig#@"  by one PO,  a "fa#got" by another.

As a result of NYPD gang mentality and brutality, I was left with permanent neurologic damage. To this day, I have absolutely no sensation in both arms, hand to shoulder. Of course, the inability to feel in both hands would seriously make doctoring nearly impossible. Civil rights, human rights, animal rights...all were violated.

After the violent older man was arrested, I was instructed to drop by the precinct later to photograph my many injuries. Apparently, this 6'1" citizen was friendly with several officers, so some revenge was coming my way.

As I spoke very calmly with precinct staff who were about to begin taking pix, an officer I'd never met approached me, commanding me to leave my small toiletry bag and leave the precinct. Clearly, this was  a poorly thought out punishment, crime, as well as false arrest.

The DA blatantly violated my right to a speedy trial that grants 90 days for the prosecutor to proceed, or all charges would be automatically dismissed. I spent 14 months, going to court 1-2 x monthly, with the DA failing to proceed with any evidence whatsoever, simply obtaining many adjournments. The reason: I was completely  innocent!

Sadly the local precinct fabricated false charges to justify their crime, and back to court I went. These charges were beyond silly,  consisting of  "trespassing" in the precinct, "loud voice," "profane speech," all as I was being attacked by 14 criminal cops. All charges were  dismissed after only 2 months by an upset and Honorable Judge.

Internal  Affairs blatantly exonerated and retreated after I presented them with Audio-visual evidence, completely and clearly confirming my claims.  I then reached out to the FBI for help investigating corruption  and brutality charges. Several calls to police were answered with a call-back, and I actually recorded the officer telling me to "quit calling" and that he  "didn't" believe me," hanging up callously.

I have several civil suits pending against NYC Police, and they are currently trying to "disallow my notice of intent" to sue. Their argument, 6 days late for one suit, and Lord knows for the others. I am preparing Federal Civil lawsuits against NYC, given more liberal statutes of limitation. I have also legally served the NYC Comptroller with formal request with sound legal justification to extend any deadlines supposedly missed. Several official, notarized requests have been sent to NYC Comptroller. My guaranteed, certified letters are unaccounted for, with no explanation by Postal Service. Finally, we managed to successfully serve a thick request and obtain signature proof. I continue to await response, and will proceed in Federal Court if this obstruction persists.

Guaranteed, whatever the price, however hard I have to fight, I will never let this go, God willing. Justice for one must must be served, or else justice for all means nothing.

I appreciate your signature on this petition, and I ask you  to refrain from donating any money.

Very Truly Yours,

Nabil Abdulghani, MD
