Hold Mark Zuckerberg Accountable for Allowing Animal Abuse Videos

The Issue

Animal abuse has no place on this planet. These poor animals have no voice; they are defenseless and need us to speak for them. My intention is to be that voice & to hold all those accountable that allow these videos to exist on Facebook. Yet, Facebook, under the leadership of Mark Zuckerberg, continues to allow groups that post horrific animal abuse videos to exist on its platform. For as long as Facebook permits these individuals and groups to operate freely, they will continue to use this platform for all the wrong reasons, spreading violence and cruelty.

Despite numerous reports from concerned users, these groups and videos remain active, as Facebook claims they do not violate its Community Standards. It is unacceptable to witness monkeys being tortured, with people expressing joy at such inhumane acts. These groups encourage violence by asking for monkeys to be cut up, stabbed, kicked, punched, or have chili powder forced into their mouths.

The time has come to demand action. Mark Zuckerberg and Meta need to take responsibility and enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy on animal abuse content. This means a proactive approach to monitoring and removing content that promotes violence against animals and revising community guidelines to prevent this content from ever being shared on Facebook.

Facebook has a global reach and the power to influence social norms, and it must not allow itself to be a platform where animal torture is normalized. By signing this petition, you are calling for accountability and changes in Facebook's policies regarding animal abuse content. We need to ensure that social media is a safe, responsible, and humane space for all living beings. Sign this petition to stand with us in making an impactful change.
