Centralized exchanges are essential for tokenized projects to raise funds and facilitate transactions. CADINU, like many others, sought growth through listing on LATOKEN. However, since February 2022, LATOKEN has imposed unjust fees and engaged in practices that violate user rights and undermine project trust.

Here’s our story and why we’re asking for accountability:

 1. Exorbitant Withdrawal Fees: LATOKEN imposed an 11% withdrawal fee on CADINU token transactions without prior notice, misleading users who assumed this was part of CADINU’s smart contract tax. Upon investigation, we discovered this fee was imposed solely by LATOKEN, unrelated to CADINU’s 10% tax structure.
 2. Accumulation of Tokens via Holding Reward: Due to the smart contract structure, LATOKEN’s wallet began accumulating CADINU tokens as a “holding reward,” totaling over 1 quadrillion tokens. These tokens rightfully belong to CADINU’s community and users, yet LATOKEN has refused to return them.
 3. Lack of Accountability and Responsiveness: Despite several attempts to resolve the issues, LATOKEN took more than two months to acknowledge the problem and eventually claimed the right to charge any fee they wished, refusing to compensate users or the project.
 4. Attempted Bribe as Compensation: LATOKEN offered a service worth under $7,000 as compensation, while the value of misappropriated tokens exceeded $200,000. This shows that LATOKEN is aware of their misconduct but chose to undervalue our community’s loss.
 5. Retaliation Against CADINU: After persistent requests for an audit and fair compensation, LATOKEN blocked our accounts on social media, cutting all communication—a tactic commonly used by scam operations.
 6. Inconsistent Fee Adjustment: After our protest, LATOKEN reduced the withdrawal fee to 1% without explanation, revealing the arbitrary nature of their fees and confirming our suspicions about their unjust practices.

These actions highlight LATOKEN’s misconduct and the urgent need for transparency and accountability in the crypto space. CADINU was forced to migrate to a new version and halt certain market activities to protect our users from LATOKEN’s predatory practices. However, we believe that no project or user should have to endure this kind of treatment in a decentralized industry built on trust.

We call on LATOKEN to:

 • Publicly acknowledge the harm caused to CADINU and its users.
 • Compensate affected users and the CADINU project fairly.
 • Commit to transparent and fair fee structures to prevent similar issues with other projects.

Why This Matters:
This petition is not only for CADINU but for the entire crypto community. Corrupt exchanges harm the integrity of our industry and hurt innocent users and projects. We ask for the support of all crypto users, influencers, and media to stand against such unfair practices.
