Your support is critical in helping amplify the voices of survivors who experienced coercion, forced labor, psychological abuse, and minimization of serious allegations – including human trafficking-like exploitation and sexual assault – at this so-called "recovery" program.

Today, I'm releasing the full audio of my 15-minute phone call where I attempted to report these crimes to authorities. What starts as a normal conversation quickly tanks into outright refusal: the officer repeatedly deflects, beats around the bush, minimizes my claims of human trafficking and sexual assault, and insists "it's not a criminal matter" – all while refusing to truly listen, take a report, or investigate.

This is gaslighting in real time.  It's institutional silencing of victims who dare speak out against powerful programs like the John Volken Academy.

Despite clear descriptions of exploitation and assault, every concern is dismissed, circumnavigated, and beaten around the bush.
