Hold Ford accountable for fixing their EcoBoost Engines

The Issue

http://www.fordproblems.com/ecoboost-fires/

After purchasing a 2016 Ford edge SEL EcoBoost (48K miles) it was only one year later that I would find myself in a devastating car situation. At exactly  70,000 miles, I discovered my engine would need to be completely replaced. I discovered this after having my vehicle diagnosed at the dealership. While driving my car began to overheat and the engine forced power reduction reducing speed to 40 miles per hour while I was driving on the highway.

The problem what was that coolant was leaking into the engine, wearing down engine parts and eventually causing the head gasket to crack. After doing research I was shocked to find that this was a recurring issue that Ford knew about since 2010 and neglected to fix. My mom purchased an Edge shortly after me as she loved my car and the features it came with. Hers was a 2017 and at exactly 70,000 miles... you guessed it. She discovered a cracked head gasket and she needed a new engine.

Ford motors is aware of this issue and has refused to offer assistance to compensate the cost. There is a class action lawsuit against them (article attached) and they have yet to take ownership over the faulty EcoBoost engines produced between 2015-2019.

Please keep in mind, this is not just about myself and my mom. This is about every consumer who has invested their hard earned dollars into Ford only to find themselves in a financial hardship with a company that does not ethically back their products.

please sign and share with anyone and everyone! We as a community need to hold for responsible for their actions. We need to ensure future consumers are not put into this predicament.

Thank you for your support and together we can force change.
