Hi Everyone,
We have 803 signers. Not too shabby. The more signers the better...so keep sharing! The school board meeting is Thursday so I'm thinking of that as our deadline. If everyone asked one person to sign, that would be great!
I'm not sure if my fourth update (Nov 30) was actually sent. If it wasn't sent to your email, look on the "updates" section of the petition. It lists the articles we have been mentioned in, and it included the latest updates to the whole saga.
Here is the newest article that came out today...
The article isn't totally clear if the Superintendent has agreed to the independent investigation we are hoping for, or if she is alluding to her plan that will investigate policies and procedures county wide. I expect she will clarify that at the board meeting on Thursday.
There are so many important issues that demand our attention. It can feel overwhelming. To be clear, this is not a football issue. This is an integrity issue. I believe it's our duty to address (perceived) corruption on any level, because that is how we can make this world a better place. We don't have to accept the status quo as natural. I don't want to live in a world where this is natural. I want to live in a world where integrity, honesty, and care for others is the status quo.
Please continue to share the petition and please attend the board meeting on Thursday to show your support! Thank you all!
