Just wanted to share some new articles that have come out in the last day or two:

I've read that Coach Overton has expressed concern that no one seems worried about what his players have been going through. We are VERY concerned about what ALL students have gone through in every school. Our goal is to help adults understand that their decisions will impact the students and children they are entrusted with. When adults make bad decisions, youth are powerless in the chaos that follows.

I am one of the ten adults speaking at tomorrow's school board meeting (!!). I plan to highlight how this recent scandal remains symptomatic of a much larger systemic issue that needs to be addressed, first with an external, independent investigation into the Hayfield Football situation that began in early 2024. 

If you can attend the meeting tomorrow at 7:00 PM, please do! It would be great to show our support for those impacted.

The meeting will take place in the auditorium of Luther Jackson Middle School, located at 3020 Gallows Rd, Fall Church, VA 22042
