Hold CPS Accountable for Violating Civil Rights of Children and Families

Hold CPS Accountable for Violating Civil Rights of Children and Families
The Issue
I am a mother who has experienced firsthand the devastating impact of Child Protective Services (CPS) violating civil rights. CPS took my grandchildren into emergency custody under false pretenses, accusing me of leaving them uncared for, which was a total lie.
In reality, my children in the safe care and custody of my aunt Angelia who has no criminal record or history of drug use. Despite this fact, CPS workers acted without proper investigation or due process.
This is not just about me; it's about all families whose civil rights have been violated by CPS workers, family court judges and court-appointed attorneys. According to the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform (NCCPR), there are thousands like us facing similar situations every year across America.
We demand accountability from those entrusted with protecting our families' welfare. We call on lawmakers to enforce stricter regulations on these entities when they violate the civil rights of their "clients". We need transparency in their decision-making processes and severe consequences when they act without proper evidence or due process. We need caseworkers wearing cameras, courtrooms with cameras, therapist parent AIDS and any other entities working with families and children need to be under surveillance at all times.
Please join us in demanding justice for all families affected by such unjust practices within our child protection system. Sign this petition today! Demand transparency and cameras in all hearings. Demand case workers wear cameras during all interviews and interactions with clients and children. Remove their immunity and immunity for the judges involved in CPS cases. They are NOT above the law. Government is formed to serve We the people and when they are not serving we the people we have no use for them. Not only are they not serving we the people they are harming way to people it's time for us to take back our government offices and demand accountability out of these entities. Allow them no more free passes to violate the rights of families and children take away and remove their immunity and demand that they are surveilled during their daily routines. It's not children that need to be protected by privacy or families it's the courts and their corrupt acts that demand and need all the privacy and the transparency and everything to be done behind closed doors. Everything done in secret so they can keep their corruption hidden. Enough is enough.
