The Coral Springs Marriott and its owner, Atrium Hospitality, succumbed to extremist intimidation, and arbitrarily cancelled its contract with the South Florida Muslim Federation to host its annual conference, 7 days prior to the event.

This conference is an annual family event for our community to come together and share knowledge, tackle social problems, share our diverse cultures, have our kids play together, learn from our elders, teach and train our youth, and have our scholars and community experts bestow knowledge.  It was created out of love for the community and the community responded.

The Coral Springs Marriott cited 'undesirable interest' when making this decision. We have been denied the right to gather and develop our community.
