Yesterday, February 22 2024, media source CT Inside Investigator (CII) published a detailed news article regarding my work with Representative Donna Veach and her resubmittal of the bill proposal to the Higher Education & Employment Advancement Committee.  This will certainly help raise awareness to my cause!

Veach's bill proposal would require an institution of higher education to allow victims of intimate partner violence to participate in any investigation or administrative hearing conducted by such institution in cases where the accused is a student or employee of such institution, but the victim is not. Click here to read the article...

In addition, my petition is set to end on February 28, 2024.  Please share my petition to help make this change happen.  I am anxiously waiting to hear back from Governor Lamont's office so I can personally deliver it to him.

Another way you can help is to send a short email to the Ranking members of the Higher Education Committee and tell them why this bill is so important to move forward in legislation.  We are in a short legislative session - February to May - so timing is everything.  Here's the link to the list of those Committee members...
