Update: Our Fight Against Aqua is Growing Far Beyond Our Neighborhood!
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an incredibly important update with all of you who have signed the Hold Aqua Accountable petition.
When we started this, we knew we had a serious problem in our own community. But over the last few days, it has become crystal clear that this issue spreads far beyond just our neighborhood.
We are officially connecting with, getting support from, and working alongside residents in other communities who are suffering from these exact same water issues. In fact, just last night, I was contacted by a family in Haslet, TX who is dealing with the same poor water quality and system damage we are.
We’ve reached 346 signatures on this petition—thank you so much for your support! Would you help us keep the momentum going by sharing? Posting to Facebook groups, Instagram stories, WhatsApp, or sending it directly via text or email all make a big difference. Thanks for being part of this!
What this means for us:
We are not alone: Aqua's systemic failures are impacting multiple neighborhoods, which makes our collective complaints impossible for regulators or company executives to ignore.
Legal momentum is building: Having legal minds from other affected communities looking into this adds serious weight to our cause.
Our evidence matters more than ever: To support this growing fight, we need to keep gathering proof.
How you can help right now:
If you haven't already, please check our community Facebook page or send me a direct message with your photos of discolored water, logs of low pressure, or proof of damage to your appliances and pipes. Please explicitly state that you give permission to share them so we can build an undeniable mountain of evidence.
Thank you all for standing strong. We are louder together, and our network is growing every single day!
