Blackhawks have filed another Motion to Dismiss

The Chicago Blackhawks, after another month of quiet deflection of the Kyle Beach case, continue to show their true colors -- despite their weak statement of "numerous" unidentified changes to their organization to atone for their sins, while being committed to winning championships.

Through their legal counsel, they have filed another motion to dismiss in the Kyle Beach negligence lawsuit, asserting that the statute of limitations has run on Kyle's claims. 

In their motion, they write that they are “committed to pursue[ing] a reasonable resolution of the issues raised by Mr. Beach as a moral imperative rather than a legal obligation.”

Their continued dismissal, deflection, and outright DENIAL of the circumstances of their mistreatment of Kyle Beach, and their uplifting of Brad Aldrich shows that the Blackhawks organization of 2021 is as immoral as it was in 2010 -- if not moreso.

As proven by their actions, Rocky Wirtz and the Chicago Blackhawks cannot be trusted to be beholden to a "moral imperative". Again, they seek to dodge trial, where they will likely be forced to pay for the damages they've caused in full. They seek to have this case ended in a "victory" for themselves, in hopes that the public will simply forget any of this has happened.

We, as a hockey community, must hold the Blackhawks organization accountable for their immorality and lack of compassion for Kyle Beach, John Doe 2, and the broader community of sexual assault survivors within the hockey community.

HOCKEY CULTURE MUST CHANGE.
