We are a community of condominium owners in Gresham, Oregon.  Currently our Homeowners Association (HOA) Board of Directors are demanding the members vote in favor of a loan to fund the entire cost of our roof and gutter project.

Under the advisement of the property management company the board decided to use a fraction of our Reserve funds without even consulting the members.  

The Reserve account is made from monthly payments that ALL COMMUNITY HOMEOWNERS contribute to, specifically to cover this type of cost.   

We wish to bring attention to this and seek your support to prevent this from happening.

Our bylaws require formation of a committee of HOA members for large projects. This is done to achieve transparency, fairness, and community participation in decision-making. 
The board has ignored this stipulation and arranged for the project without actively involving members.  Revealing a concerning disregard for established procedures and member rights.

Sign this petition to pause all contracts, proposals, and financial loans concerning the roof and gutter project until the board abides to the bylaws of our association and forms a committee of homeowners.
