In the 2019 Policy Adress, the Chief Executive has planned to reclaim land in Lantau island to build houses. If this policy goes in effect, it will affect the wildlife in the area, including the near-extinct Chinese White Dolphins. This will also increase the density of population in Lantau island and put a strain on the Western part of Hong Kong island and Kowloon. Therefore, I hope we all can join to protect Lantau island.
