I am petitioning in regards to the present climate around the world. Notably the excessive force by white police officers against people of color. This is only one of the major consequences of racism, there are many more. Now is the time like never before to make changes that reflect the awakening of what is wrong with America's system around the world. We need not further oppress people. We need to upgrade our thinking and sensitivities by doing what is right.

The community of Charlotte request that the word "Plantation" be removed  from

communities known as Providence Plantation,  Greenbriar Hills Plantation Road and all others with such a word included in their names.
