The Hingham Harbor Masters is proposing a couple mooring regulations that will directly interfere with our enjoyment of the Worlds End mooring basin. Please feel free to take a moment to review section 15-C-i and 15-E-iv of the document. Proposed Mooring Regulations 2020.

This petition is looking for:

Remove from section 15-C-i the following line:
"A person may have no more than one (1) mooring/docking permits for mooring
locations in the Worlds End Mooring Area."

Remove or revise 15-E-iv:
"No more than three (3) vessels shall be rafted to a mooring without prior Harbormaster written permission."

I think we can all agree that some control is needed for the area, but these new regulations will dramatically impacting the boating community's use of a safe harbor where our local boating communities have gathered for years with very few issues.
