I am sharing my latest column in the Rutgers Newspaper The Daily Targum below. It shares a personal story about how I was a victim of Hinduphobia in high school and how Hinduphobia has affected our community.

As Hindus celebrate Diwali around the world and the return of Shri Rama to Ayodhya, let us take a moment to remember why we started this petition in the first place and what it means for Hindus and Hinduphobia. We must continue to voice our concerns to Rutgers. Not doing so will be against what our tradition teaches us about injustice!
