Keep the Chief Mascot at Chamberlain High School - Change.org

The Issue

Students of Chamberlain High School of Tampa, Florida choose the Chief as their logo in 1956 when the school begin it's initial year.  The Chief has been an honored and respected symbol of the school's love for the past 64 years.  We have replicas of it to show our appreciation to the Chief.  The students donated their lunch money to have a Chief's head placed on the front of the auditorium to show all that we are the Chamberlain Chiefs.  At the 55th reunion a collection was held to have the Chief's head refurbished as it had been traumatized by paint thrown on it by rival high schools. There is a replica of an Indian Chief in our main hall way to show our respect to the Chief.  We love the Chief and we will always be Chiefs.
