Well it’s now time to make some noise.

I really had a lot of hope. I thought that there just may be a day that I would see the justice that I so very much deserve. But no, 17 long months of waiting for answers, and I, like so many other victims and survivors, am once again left disappointed by the judicial system. I guess my word wasn’t enough, the bruises and scratches, my seizures, depression, anxiety, and ptsd wasn’t enough either. I’ve kept silent for far too long about who my rapist is because I didn’t want to jeopardize this case, I held onto hope that if I stayed silent he would face prison time.... I’m no longer silent. I have been failed by our very flawed judicial system over and over again.

Stephen Licata is a rapist. He raped me. He is walking as a free man and will never be put behind bars for brutally raping me.

Ladies, protect yourselves from Stephen Licata. He is a rapist.

If you’ve ever been sexually assaulted by Stephen Licata or anyone at all, I am sorry and I am praying for you...my messages are always open.

Again, his name is Stephen Licata. Stephen Licata is also member of the USA power lifting team.

This is not a threat towards him or his family and friends, or towards the USA power lifting organization. I am a victim that is no longer silent.

Detective Jaime Abrams, I had so much faith in you, but it seems as though you may have been the lead in making sure my case never went to trial, never saw an indictment.... you failed me. Assistant county attorney John Harding failed me. Former County Attorney Michael Conlon failed me. Newly elected, County Attorney John Coughlin failed me.

This is also not a threat towards these people, or their family and friends. 

Although I will not see justice, I will keep fighting. I will fight for other victims. I will never give up. Thank you to everyone who has helped me and continues to stick by my side.

My healing can no longer be based on whether i see justice or not, I need to heal, I need to become a strong survivor, Stephen Licata is no longer allowed to keep me a victim.

Although I have not yet received the justice that I deserve, I am hopeful that with enough support, it will be able to change the minds of those who have the power to decide whether or not I get to face my rapist in court and take back the power that he took from me.
