Petition Update: 1,439 Signatures and Growing

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this petition. We have now reached 1,439 signatures, which shows just how strongly residents feel about the proposed garden waste wheelie bin changes.
(The infographic only represents 573 signatories, as that is the number than can be matched exactly to Hillingdon wards, all other signatories have supplied invalid or incomplete Hillingdon postcodes, so are not represented).
While support continues to grow, our latest analysis reveals an important challenge. The majority of signatures are currently concentrated in the north-east of the borough, meaning that many other parts of Hillingdon remain underrepresented. If we are to demonstrate borough-wide concern, we need residents from every ward and every community to make their voices heard.
This issue affects households across the whole of Hillingdon, not just a handful of neighbourhoods. Whether you live in Ruislip, Northwood, Uxbridge, Yiewsley, West Drayton, Hayes, Eastcote, Harefield, Ickenham or any other part of the borough, your support helps show the Council that residents expect meaningful consultation before major changes are introduced.
Please help us spread the word beyond the areas where support is already strongest. Share this petition with neighbours, local community groups, residents' associations, family members and friends who live elsewhere in Hillingdon. Every additional signature from a different ward strengthens the case that this is a borough-wide concern requiring proper engagement with residents.
The petition is making progress, but there is still work to do. Let's ensure that every corner of Hillingdon has the opportunity to be heard before decisions are made that could affect thousands of households.
1,439 signatures today. Let's make the next milestone a truly borough-wide show of support.
