Dear Supporter As a result of recent media publicity, one of the schools in the vicinity of FM Conway will be questioning all members of staff about the impact of the fumes on themselves and pupils. A letter will be sent to all parents about the issue. The object of both actions is to compile a set of complaints to send to Hillingdon council. The school are taking this seriously and if Hillingdon fail to take enforcement action, escalating the complaints to the Department For Education is a real possibility. I know from anecdotal evidence that parents and teachers from more than one school are concerned about the impact of the pungent odour on children's health, so the campaign welcomes one school's action to formalise concerns, to forward to Hillingdon council. The Ealing Gazette has published the article this week and I believe that this is free to pick up from Tesco at Bulls Bridge. If you pick up a few copies, please share with neighbours who are not online. Thank you for your support and for driving the online petition towards the 1000 supporter mark.
