On October 7th, 2015 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton announced her opposition to the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). In this era of private back-end deals, her public promise to vote down the TPP does not go far enough. She has received numerous endorsements by members of Congress, members who will vote to either reject/pass the deal after the elections. Hillary Clinton should prove her opposition to the TPP by refusing any congressional endorsements that do not pledge to vote against the deal.
