Hillary Clinton is not my preferred choice to serve as the 45th President of the United States of America.

She is, without a doubt, part of the system, the political elite, that created the environment which made it possible for Donald Trump to become the Republican Presidential candidate. I expect very little from a second Clinton Whitehouse except more of the same, but at the end of her term I do expect there to be a Whitehouse, a functioning country, and a social fabric that is still at least partially intact.

I am far, far less confident that that will be the case should Donald Trump win in November. As to his finger being on the button, let's not ever go there.

To ensure that Trump doesn't win it is not enough for voters to abstain, we need them to gird their loins and vote for Hillary.

The purpose of this petition is to create a mechanism for voters to send a public message to Hillary that just because she got their vote it doesn't mean she has their support, it just means she was the only alternative to Donald Trump.

If enough people sign this petition then perhaps a more humble, less smug, Hillary will be sworn into office.

So please sign, and share, this petition and, come November, hold your nose and vote for Hillary; and yes, put her in the history books as the first woman to achieve the office of the President of the United States of America.
