The roundabout located along the A41 just on the outskirts of Bicester, on the junction with Vendee Drive, needs to be redesigned urgently. This is especially critical since there was another accident just last week, in which tragically 2 people lost their lives.

The approach from the M40 is too quick (motorists ignore the 40mph speed limit), the dual carriageway merges from 2 lanes on the A41 into 3 (unmarked) lanes around the roundabout, and then back into 2 lanes to carry on up the A41 toward Tesco, or into just one lane if taking one of the other exits towards the park and ride, Vendee Drive or Wendlebury Road.

There is poor visibility as you join the roundabout from the A41 and motorists cannot see the entrance and exit to the park and ride car park, nor is it clear to some motorists that there is even an exit there.

Just this morning I witnessed another incident resulting in a car being hit and spinning around from the roundabout and back into the entrance of the park and ride. 

This section of road needs to be looked at for improvements urgently - most importantly to avoid more unnecessary deaths. And as even more houses are being built on the ever expanding Kingsmere Estate, this will only increase the number of vehicles using this junction.
