The residents of Highland Park are requesting the removal of bike lanes on York Blvd.  From Eagle Rock Blvd and York to Fig and York Blvd. The Bike lanes have caused  major traffic congestion during  Morning and afternoon rush hours, in which causes  drivers to use  back streets that creates unsafe streets for kids and pedestrians in the residential area. These bike lanes also have caused local businesses on York Blvd  to lose business. And most important slows down emergency response time for lapd and the lafd. The Majority of the community and business owners do not want these bike lanes on York  . The residents of Highland Park demand the removal of these bike lanes immediately
