Let’s keep High Park Accessible for Everyone! 🌳
We attended the High Park Movement Study meeting on April 7th, and it’s clear there are big changes on the horizon. While we all want a safe park, it’s important that High Park remains a welcoming space for all—not just a high-speed transit corridor.
Many are pushing for Option 1, but we believe Option 2 is the better way forward. Here’s why:
Safety for All: Option 2 focuses on a balanced approach, ensuring pedestrians aren't blocked by miles of concrete barriers.
Accessibility: We want to make sure families and visitors can still access the park's heart without unnecessary hurdles.
A Real Park Experience: Let's keep the roads safe for "slow" cycling and walking, rather than turning them into dedicated speed tracks.
We need your voice! The city needs to hear from people who want a balanced High Park.
