At the hands of 3 violent deputies, Jorge Gonzalez was left in critical conditions after they stormed into HIS home and woke HIM up. He was tased multiple times after already being placed in handcuffs.A deputy tripped him while in cuffs, resulting in him losing consciousness. In the mugshot photos, he was in so much pain, in such a critical condition that his head had to be held up. Instead of receiving medical treatment, he was placed in a cell in Hidalgo County. Jorge Gonzalez is another of countless police brutality victims, he was left in an incredibly fragile state. One that’s ultimately resulted in his death. Though this occurred on April 12, not enough light has been shed on it even months later. The lack of awareness only demonstrates the normalization of police brutality on people of color, it’s vital that a change is made. Like thousands of other victims of police brutality, Jorge Gonzalez deserves Justice.
