I have been playing smite for over one year now, since December of 2013, and I have to say it has been a large part of my life.  I love Smite, and I love Ubuntu.  I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.  One one hand, I have a windows operating system, which is fine, so that I can play smite. On the other hand, I have Linux which is fantastic and snappy, but I am stuck playing smite through a windows emulator, which doesn't work too well.  Smite has collected a very large fan base and is doing both of the following.  You, by limiting an influential game like smite, stopping the progress of Linux expansion  You are also Limiting your own audience.  There are a ton of current Linux users who would love to try out smite, but don't want to go through all of the trouble as to setup a windows emulator, which as I have mentioned before, doesn't work to well.  Linux is obviously becoming the superior operating system, with a rapidly growing amount of users, because it is open source, very lightweight, and has fantastic community support, and is free of being linked to some Microsoft Account or Apple ID, YUCK!  Smite is a game that would benefit a lot from moving to Linux, because it would gain a substantial amount of active, friendly, and dedicated players.
