We ask the Head of States and Governments (gathered on the 15th and 16th of October to prepare the next EU Summit) to immediately set a price for all CO2 emissions in Europe, quickly raising it until emissions become no longer affordable. With the money raised, taxes on lower incomes can be reduced and energy saving and alternative sources encouraged.

The European Union now has the possibility to do something serious to fight climate change.

Talking about the emission reduction targets in 2030 or 2050 is not enough. We need to decide how to cut the emissions, and to start doing it immediately.

Years have passed since the first time 27 Nobel Prizes identified the most effective solution to cut emissions: to make emitters pay for them!
