While the park is beautiful and recently updated, many of us parents have spoken about the need for a safety gate. The entrance of the park is directly next to the parking lot. A child running off into any parking lot is always frightening. Not all children have parents or caregivers in good enough physical shape to run after them. Some children don't have the ability to understand the dangers that are present in the parking lot either. Since this park caters to many age range the main play area being so close to this entrance there are many opportunities for children to slip out, even while being supervised. Let's not wait until it's too late to place a safety measure in this entrance.

Please note the orange mesh barrier is not currently up and was only there during construction. There needs to be a permanent solution
