Why this petition matters

Started by Glorial Mew Mew

A Cyprus kitten was killed after being squashed on a conveyor belt.
Cyprus Airports take money from people to export animals across the world but they do not provide adequate safety procedures to ensure their safety.

I have written to the airports and asked them to provide a safe room for animals to be held while their travel box is xrayed.
They have not helped. Now this dreadful accident has left the rescuer distraught and saying she will not be involved in animal rescue again.
This kitten had been saved from certain death only to lose his life because of Airport negligence.
Enough is enough
Cyprus airports must be made to provide a safe room where animals can be held securely while their travel box is X-ray
Failing that they need to purchase a X-ray machine that is safe for animals like the one at Heathrow Airport.
