We, the homeowners of Heritage Crossing in Simpsonville, SC, are in need of support from our elected officials, along with a showing of support from the Simpsonville community as a whole. There is minimal accountability and communication between the old developer and the new developer, which is causing uncertainty amongst residents. We initially have safety concerns regarding there only being one entrance and exit in and out of the neighborhood, with cars consistently parked in the narrow streets. The roads are in poor condition, with construction vehicles often blocking roundabouts from being able to be used. There is no safety fencing around the retention pond by Strongridge Trail, which is a safety and code violation. We were told that the pool and club house were going to be completed in phase 1 of the community and the development itself is not even complete. We are getting poor excuses for excessive delays. We are also being told that the setbacks between rows of houses are now not considered common spaces and the HOA will not maintain the property. Weeds are about 3 or 4 feet high in some areas. The same is true for the retention pond, with no maintenance having been seen by residents this year of 2025. The overgrowth is a potential fire hazard to residents. With HOA fees being considerably high given the condition of the neighborhood, we expect the standards we were sold.

**** Update: We have received an email from the HOA addressing some of the concerns. However, we do not have a timeline on the completion of the community, and therefore, have no idea when the HOA board will turn over to the homeowners.
