Re-open the 'Flagship Shopping Centre' in Bangor, Co. Down, and DON'T build apartments. Bangor Town Centre needs a retail option suitable for everyone.  The Flagship Centre may have initially not been a massive success, but, this time around, if we get a few bigger names, like M&S, McDonald's, Primark, Tesco and Next, a redevelopment, and most importantly, a cinema, The Flagship Centre could become the biggest retail destination of Co. Down, maybe even Northern Ireland. This change could make a massive impact on Co. Down shoppers, and even shoppers from Belfast. It will make a lot of money for the Herbert Group, and will help you fund more apartments, KFC Restaurants and Housing. I have recently discovered The Flagship Centre, and the several missed opportunities. Here are some things you can add to guarantee long-term success: A cinema will make Flagship a destination for children and adults alike, and provide the well needed leisure destination for Bangor. A gym, this will add a long-term boost to the centre and will make it a good visit for people looking to lose some weight. A food court, with brands like KFC and McDonalds and Burger King will add fast food destinations other than Subway around the City Centre. Having shops like Primark and Topshop will entice kids and parents to come to the centre. Maybe even a good pet-shop would help out. I care about this as shopping malls are one of my fixations. I enjoy looking in them, and seeing all the opportunities to open shops!
